Job summary

EDUCARE HUMAN CAPITAL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an SRE/Cloud Operations specialist to own live service health across production Azure platforms, lead incident response, and drive automation.

You will collaborate with Platform, Development, Security, Support, and Services teams to evolve our SaaS operating model and strategically reduce operational toil at scale.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating scalable SaaS platforms on Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on expertise operating and troubleshooting IIS with .NET applications.
• Strong proficiency with SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Monitoring, logging, and tracing using Datadog; strong observability mindset.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization in modern environments.

About the Role

Sitting at the dynamicintersection of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Cloud Operations, youwill take ownership of live service health for our production cloud platformsand applications. In this critical role, you will lead incident response, driveautomation, enhance observability, and champion continuous improvement. Youwill collaborate closely with Platform, Development, Security, Support, andServices teams to evolve our SaaS operating model and strategically reduceoperational toil at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, scale, and continuously improve our Azure-based SaaS platforms to consistently meet SLAs and support business growth.
• Maintain and troubleshoot critical infrastructure, actively participating in incident response and on-call rotations.
• Drive system reliability through advanced monitoring, alerting, and proactive performance management.
• Cultivate a reliable operational environment by collaborating effectively with engineers, operations teams, and key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain clear runbooks, uphold operational standards, and mentor cross-functional teams.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience operating and supporting scalable SaaS platforms within Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on expertise in operating and troubleshooting IIS with .NET applications.
• Strong proficiency with SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and tracing methodologies, with Datadog experience serving as a strong advantage.
• Practical experience utilizing Kubernetes, containerization, and modern supporting tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the proven ability to remain composed during high-pressure incidents.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset, thriving in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Bonus Points (Nice toHave)

• Scripting or automation capabilities, particularly with C#.
• Practical, hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as GitHub and Argo CD.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), specifically Terraform.
• Familiarity with Remote Desktop Architecture and basic Linux systems.
• A background encompassing security-focused engineering, compliance workflows, or customer-facing incident communication.
