Percept Solutions is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Singapore to support cloud operations, administration, implementation, and migration activities. You will collaborate with technical teams and clients to deliver secure, scalable cloud environments while improving automation and efficiency.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with AWS/Azure, VM migrations, and infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills are essential.

Formación

• 3-7 years of relevant experience in cloud operations, administration, and implementation.
• Hands-on experience operating and administering AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Experience delivering cloud implementations and supporting technical client engagements.
• Experience migrating more than 20 VMs or databases.
• Hands-on experience using Azure Migrate for VM migrations.
• Familiarity with cloud migration tools, including CloudEndure.
• Practical experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Ability to implement cloud configurations that meet security, performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience resolving incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Ability to prepare clear technical and operational documentation.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Relevant cloud certifications should be maintained; AWS certifications are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, administer, and maintain AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Perform daily cloud operations, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents per SLAs.
• Support cloud implementation projects and pilots, ensuring deployments align with designs.
• Ensure configurations meet performance, security, and reliability requirements.
• Participate in VM and database migrations, including large migrations (>20 items).
• Automate provisioning, deployment, and maintenance using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Apply automation-by-default principles to new implementations and ongoing operations.
• Prepare and maintain configuration records, operational procedures, and incident documentation.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date and share insights with the team.

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with 3-7 years of relevant experience to support cloud operations, administration, implementation, and migration activities. You will collaborate with technical teams and clients to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments while improving infrastructure deployment and maintenance through automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, administer, and maintain AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Perform daily cloud operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve incidents within agreed service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Support cloud implementation projects and pilots, ensuring deployed configurations align with approved designs and specifications.
• Ensure cloud configurations meet performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, and reliability requirements.
• Participate in VM and database migrations, including migration engagements involving more than 20 VMs or databases.
• Use migration tools such as Azure Migrate and CloudEndure, where required.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration deployment, and maintenance using Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Apply automation-by-default principles to new implementations and ongoing cloud operations.
• Participate in client operational meetings, technical discussions, and implementation planning.
• Identify and contribute to process improvements and cloud environment optimisation.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to team members and client accounts.
• Prepare and maintain configuration records, implementation documentation, operational procedures, and incident-resolution documentation.
• Keep technical knowledge and relevant cloud certifications current, and share practical insights with the wider technical team.
