Job summary

Mediacorp TV Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Assistant / Technical Manager to oversee lighting, stage/fly systems, and AV during live performances and events in Singapore. You will manage technical teams, plan manpower, and ensure seamless execution from rehearsals to live shows.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical knowledge across lighting and sound, plus robust problem-solving and communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and client production units.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in technical management for live performances (broadcast experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of lighting, sound, stage operations, rigging, and AV systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Team Management: supervise technical staff and freelancers with clear delegation of roles and responsibilities.
• Collaboration & Event Execution: work with internal teams and external clients to understand and deliver technical requirements for shows/events; coordinate with production needs.
• Equipment Maintenance, Compliance & Documentation: ensure equipment is maintained; conduct safety audits and ensure regulatory compliance; maintain technical documentation.
