Job summary
AVPD Studios in Singapore is seeking an AVL Technical Manager to own the technical delivery of conferences, roadshows, and activations. You will lead a skilled AV team, oversee video switching, LED content, and livestream infrastructure for hybrid events, and ensure budgets and vendor relationships are tightly managed.
We value hands-on expertise with gear on smaller jobs and strategic leadership on larger productions, with a focus on video, switching, and content rather than audio.
Qualifications
- Hands-on with AV gear on smaller jobs and lead a full AV tech team on larger productions
- Ability to manage budgets, vendors, and timelines across concurrent events
- Strong knowledge of professional AV systems and live event production processes
Responsibilities
- Own AVL technical planning and execution across conferences, roadshows, and activations
- Direct video switching and LED wall content deployment
- Oversee livestream deployment for hybrid events including encoding and routing
- Read and mark up technical drawings in Vectorworks or AutoCAD
- Manage AV spend and vendor relationships to protect margins
- Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders on technical requirements and troubleshooting
