Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Law or Legal Studies required.
• 1–3 years of litigation paralegal experience preferred for Singapore law firms.
• Fresh graduates with interest in litigation may apply.
• Familiarity with Singapore Rules of Court and litigation procedures advantageous.
• Experience using the eLitigation system is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Able to prioritise work and meet multiple deadlines.
• Responsible, proactive and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Support lawyers in civil, commercial, criminal, and family litigation from start to finish.
• Draft, review and prepare legal documents including correspondence, pleadings and affidavits.
• Compile court bundles and authorities for hearings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries.
• File court documents via eLitigation and ensure deadlines are met.
• Liaise with clients, counsel, government agencies and other firms.
• Arrange client meetings and court attendances.
• Maintain accurate physical and electronic case files.
• Review evidence and prepare chronologies.
• Assist with discovery, document production and trial prep.
• Prepare invoices and monitor disbursements.
• Provide general admin support to the Litigation Department.
