Job summary

The Talent People Pte. Ltd. is seeking a day-to-day advisory contact for directors and senior management of SGX-listed companies, helping them meet ongoing regulatory and governance obligations.

You will work closely with the firm's senior leadership and gain early exposure to regulators and live corporate transactions. Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• 2+ years in accounting, finance, corporate compliance, capital markets or related advisory function.
• Working knowledge of SGX Listing Manual, Securities and Futures Act and Companies Act.

Responsibilities

• Guide directors and management of listed companies on continuing obligations under SGX Listing Manual.
• Provide input on corporate governance, including board structure and disclosure practices.
• Vet announcements, press releases, circulars, annual reports for regulatory compliance.
• Assess corporate actions against listing requirements.
• Engage with exchange regulatory arm and coordinate with auditors, lawyers and advisers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with listed company clients.
• Assist with capital-raising and M&A work, including placements, rights issues and restructurings.

About Our Client

Our client is a boutique corporate advisory firm serving both private and publicly listed companies, with a regional client base. The firm is in a growth phase and is expanding its listed-company advisory team.

The Role

You will be the day-to-day advisory contact for directors and senior management of SGX-listed companies, helping them meet their ongoing regulatory and governance obligations. You will work closely with the firm's senior leadership and gain early exposure to regulators and to live corporate transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide directors and management of listed companies on their continuing obligations under the SGX Listing Manual
• Provide input on corporate governance, including board structure, disclosure practices and alignment with the Code of Corporate Governance
• Vet announcements, press releases, circulars, annual reports and similar documents for regulatory compliance before they are published
• Assess corporate actions such as interested person transactions and significant transactions against listing requirements
• Engage with the exchange's regulatory arm and other authorities, and coordinate with auditors, lawyers and financial advisers on compliance and disclosure issues
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with a portfolio of listed company clients
• Assist with capital-raising and M&A work, including placements, rights issues and restructurings

What You Bring

• Degree, postgraduate diploma or professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance, Business or a related discipline
• At least 2 years' experience in accounting, finance, corporate compliance, capital markets or a related advisory function
• Working knowledge of the Securities and Futures Act, SGX Listing Manual and Companies Act
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, as you will work with Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability and the discipline to meet tight deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and comfort juggling multiple clients at once
• Confidence in developing practical, tailored recommendations, while knowing when to seek guidance from senior colleagues
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset, and comfort in client-facing roles
