Job summary

Tap Growth ai is seeking a Systems Engineer (Linux & Infrastructure) to install, configure, maintain, and support mission-critical backend systems across Windows and Linux environments. You will implement security hardening, manage changes, and ensure service continuity with proactive monitoring and incident analysis.

The role emphasizes strong scripting, backup/recovery planning, and collaboration with project teams to deliver reliable, secure infrastructure for enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux and Windows server administration experience.
• Experience with CIS hardening and security best practices.
• Proficient in root cause analysis and incident response.
• Ability to implement backup, restore, and DR procedures.
• Experience in change management and incident handling processes.
• Familiarity with enterprise network troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Proficient in scripting for automation (bash/PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain backend systems per specs and SLAs.
• Manage changes with impact assessments and stakeholder communication.
• Analyze incidents and implement preventive, corrective actions.
• Develop and test backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Provide guidance to project teams and stakeholders on infrastructure.
• Configure and support Windows and Linux server environments.
• Perform security hardening and compliance activities.
• Monitor performance, availability, and operational health.
• Conduct routine maintenance on systems and networks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure, stable operations.
