  • Proven track record in managing relationships with shipping lines and carriers.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with shipping lines, carriers, and stakeholders to secure competitive freight rates and service agreements.
  • Oversee daily liner shipping operations, including vessel scheduling, space allocation, and cargo coordination.
  • Optimize cargo bookings and maximize vessel utilization to ensure profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with shipping lines and ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of shipments. Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
  • Address and resolve operational issues, including cargo delays, disputes, and service failures.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality in liner operations.
  • Prepare and present reports on key performance metrics, financial results, and operational performance to senior management.

Job Summary:
