Job summary

GMP Technologies represents a well established Shipping Brand in Singapore, inviting a motivated candidate to join as Executive (Line Management). In this role you will assist in coordinating between customers, vendors and offices, support sales transactions for existing and potential accounts, and work with the Operations Team to minimize costs.

You will also help prepare trade statistics and liaise with vessel operators on space, tonnage and special cargos.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in maritime-related discipline.
• Open to entry-level maritime candidates.
• 1–2 years of experience in MLO, Feeder or NVOCC acceptable.

Responsibilities

About the job Executive (Line Management)

Our client is a well established Shipping Brand. Currently they are looking for an enthusiastic and committed candidate to join them as " Executive (Line Management) ".

In this role, your key responsibilities will involve the following areas :

• Assist in providing coordination between customers, vendors, and employers offices.
• As part of the Line Management team, you must assist to support the sales transactions with the company's existing and potential accounts.
• Work closely with the Operations Team to assist in looking at opportunities to minimize operating costs.
• Assist in coordinating and preparing trade statistics for Line Management Department.
• Assist in day-to-day coordination with vessel operators from various services on space/tonnage, excess loading and shippers requirements.
• Assist to booking, especially for special cargos with special attention.
• Assist to ensure daily communications and problems solving with locations
• All other duties assigned

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Maritime related discipline
• Open to entry level Maritime candidates to apply
• Otherwise 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in MLO, Feeder or NVOCC
• Possess excellent working attitude
• Be a good team player
• Be detailed and meticulous
