Job summary

SINOHYDRO CORPORATION LIMITED (Singapore Branch) invites an experienced Lifting Engineer to lead lifting operations at Clementi. You will plan, organize and supervise activities, developing safe lifting plans for crawler and mobile cranes in coordination with the operation team.

Responsibilities include preparing method statements and risk assessments, reviewing SWPs, and ensuring site compliance with authorities and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of engineering experience with degree in mechanical and electrical engineering.
• PE Board recognition and Lifting Engineer certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop and review lifting plans, method statements, risk assessments and SWPs.
• Conduct routine checks and inspections on site to ensure compliance with authorities and client requirements.
• Daily walk about around assigned areas and report compliance or non-compliance to HSE procedures.
• Coordinate site lifting supervisors, riggers and signalmen; act as focal point for all lifting operations.

Job Description

• Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely with operation team on all lifting activities.
• Overall in-charge for preparing lifting and erection plan for all the Crawler or Mobile Cranes.
• Prepare, develop and review Lifting plans, Method Statement, Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedure of all executive teams for any lifting activities.
• Conduct routine checks and inspections on work site to ensure compliance with authorities and client’s requirements.
• Daily walk about around assigned areas of site and make a note of compliance and non-compliance to HSE operating procedure.
• Able to prepare and review lifting plan and coordinate site lifting supervisors, riggers and signalman, and being the focal point for all site lifting operations Perform discipline checks of the procedures and analysis. Read project specifications and provide feedback from an engineering perspective. Liaise with clients, and executive teams.

Job Requirements:

Minimum five (5) years of engineering experience with Degree in mechanical and electrical engineering recognized by the PE Board。

Work location at Clementi.

Must have a Lifting Engineer certificate from The Institute of Engineers Singapore, 5-Day Course for Appointed Person - Lifting Operations
