  • Crane operator certificate or recognised certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating lorry cranes, mobile cranes, overhead cranes or other lifting equipment.
  • Familiarity with Singapore roads and delivery routes.
  • Knowledge of lifting safety, load capacity, rigging practices and standard hand signals.
  • Good driving and safety record.
  • Able to work independently and overtime including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a lorry crane to lift, transport, move and reposition materials or equipment.
  • Receive and follow instructions from ground personnel through radio communication or recognised hand signals.
  • Ensure outriggers and blocks are positioned correctly before lifting operations.
  • Inspect and verify rigging arrangements according to the crane load chart and manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Estimate and assess load weights to ensure they remain within the crane’s lifting capacity.
  • Coordinate with customers and site personnel during lifting and delivery activities.
  • Conduct daily pre-operation checks and ensure the vehicle and crane are safe for use.
  • Perform routine cleaning and basic operator maintenance on the crane mechanism and hoisting components.
  • Report faults promptly and arrange periodic maintenance or repairs when required.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and complete the relevant documentation.
  • Follow workplace safety requirements, contractual obligations and company procedures.
  • Carry out other operational assignments as instructed.
