Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Singapore is seeking a driven Life Sciences project lead to manage investment projects from definition to handover. You will oversee scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, procurement, and external partners to ensure delivery meets operations requirements.

You’ll define charters, business cases, and initiation documents while leading stage-gate reviews, risk management, and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Prepare project charters, business cases, capital appropriation requests, and project initiation documents.
• Define project scope and develop business requirements, work breakdown structures, cost breakdown structures, and project schedules.
• Prepare cost estimates and conduct value-improvement reviews.
• Develop project execution, controlling, sourcing, procurement, training, and document-management plans.
• Select suitable project delivery methods and organize the resources required for execution.
• Assess and manage project risks relating to safety, quality, functionality, cost, schedule, and execution.
• Develop the project HSE strategy and conduct safety reviews and stop-work interventions when required.
• Lead procurement activities, including tendering, bid evaluation, and the placement of orders or contracts based on technical specifications and bills of quantities.
• Monitor and report project costs, schedules, risks, quality, and progress.
• Establish project change-control processes and manage approved changes.
• Coordinate statutory permit submissions and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead project stage-gate reviews and project-definition maturity assessments.
• Organize technical quality, constructability, and project-readiness reviews.
• Manage vendors, contractors, consultants, and other external partners.
• Establish and manage project claims, deficiencies, and deviations.
• Oversee construction management, equipment installation, contractor safety, and inspection activities.
• Coordinate equipment FAT, SAT, inspections, and project acceptance activities.
• Develop the turnover strategy and manage provisional and final project handover.
• Prepare the final project report and capture benchmarking data and lessons learned.
• Deliver investment projects in line with agreed cost, schedule, functionality, quality, and safety objectives.
