Job summary

Greensafe International Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Safety Officer to support the Safety Manager in ensuring WSH and LTA compliance on the project site.

The role requires MOM-registered WSHO, experience with risk management plans, and strong communication with project teams and authorities. The position involves site safety inspections, incident investigations, and promoting a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a MOM-registered WSHO (Workplace Safety and Health Officer) – mandatory.
• Experience in preparing and implementing Risk Management plans (e.g., bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act, subsidiary regulations, and LTA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Safety Manager to ensure WSH, environmental and project safety compliance.
• Carry out safety, health and environmental activities to ensure site works follow procedures and LTA requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants and authorities on safety matters.
• Prepare and submit daily safety reports and highlight safety concerns.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections, record observations, and follow up on corrective actions with project team and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, prepare reports, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure all workers wear required PPE and follow site safety rules.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, LTA requirements and the project's Safety Management System.
• Identify safety training and certification requirements and ensure workers meet standards.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
• Support safety meetings, toolbox talks and safety campaigns to promote a safe working environment.
