Job summary

GREENSAFE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified Safety Officer to support our safety management on construction projects in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with WSH, environmental and project safety requirements, and work closely with project teams to implement safety controls.

You will conduct daily site inspections, prepare reports, investigate incidents, and assist in corrective actions, training and risk assessments to promote a safe and compliant working environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM - Mandatory.
• Experience in preparing and implementing Risk Management plans (e.g., bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act, subsidiary regulations, and LTA safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Safety Manager in ensuring compliance with WSH, environmental, and project safety requirements.
• Carry out safety, health, and environmental activities to ensure all site works follow approved procedures.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and authorities on safety matters.
• Prepare and submit daily safety reports and highlight any safety concerns.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections, record observations, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare reports, and assist in corrective actions.
• Ensure workers wear PPE and follow site safety rules.
• Monitor compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, LTA requirements, and Safety Management System.
• Identify safety training and certification requirements and ensure workers meet standards.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing RA, SWP, and other safety documents.
• Support safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare reports, and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all workers wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow site safety rules.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, LTA requirements, and the project's Safety Management System.
• Identify safety training and certification requirements and ensure workers meet the required standards.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and other safety documents.
• Support safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns to promote a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) - Mandatory .
• Experience in preparing and implementing Risk Management plans (e.g., bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act, subsidiary regulations, and LTA safety requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience on LTA projects .
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
