Job summary

Secretlab SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a project-focused engineer to manage licensed product programs from ideation to end-of-life, coordinating with suppliers, industrial designers, and engineers in Singapore.

You will review proofs, track prototype timelines, and resolve design/manufacturing issues with cross-functional teams, while arranging early-production units for seeding and reviews. English and Mandarin fluency is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering or a relevant course of study.
Excellent internship in Manufacturing/ Mechanical Engineering/ Project Management with practical knowledge to show.
Strong problem-solving skills; meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with prioritization.
Strong communication with business proficiency in English and Mandarin for liaising with Mandarin vendors.
Strong initiative and ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

Manage projects for Secretlab's licensed products, driving them from ideation to EOL.
Review design proofs before sending to factory for prototyping.
Keep track of prototype dates, manage tasks and workarounds to keep projects on track.
Highlight issues during prototyping and resolve with Industrial Designers/ Engineers.
Assist with shipping arrangements for prototypes/samples to partners/reviewers/studios.
Gather requirements and arrange early-production units for seeding and reviewers.
Collaborate with Reliability and Compliance teams to test new materials and ensure regulations compliance.
