Job description

Secretlab is an international gaming chair brand seating over three million users worldwide, with our key markets in the United States, Europe and Singapore, where we are headquartered.

You will be a valued member in our award‑winning Product team, responsible for creating products for consumers across over 60 countries. In this unique position, you will assist with the development of projects for fans of the brand which complement our award‑winning chairs. You should be an innovator with a proven track record of bringing products to market from the conceptualisation stages.

Our Product team is involved with all Secretlab’s industry‑leading designs, including collaborative efforts with world‑renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organisers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.

The Product Developer is responsible for leading end‑to‑end product development initiatives, managing complex multi‑dependency projects, and ensuring successful product launches. This role requires strong project management capability, deep understanding of product development and manufacturing processes, and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with teams across regions. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and able to balance technical, commercial, and operational considerations while driving programs to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of assigned projects and products - from early configuration, validation, testing to market launch readiness.
  • Independently coordinate component reviews, prototyping activities, and cross‑functional task alignments to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Collaborate closely with Industrial & Packaging Design, Mechanical Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to identify and resolve project risks/bottlenecks early.
  • Communicate directly and effectively with manufacturing partners & suppliers to align sample iterations and production data.
  • Support the department’s enterprise PLM deployment and expansion, ensuring data governance and immaculate documentation across all bills of materials (BOMs), sheets, and databases.
  • Identify and suggest workflow improvements to increase day‑to‑day delivery reliability and speed.
  • Apply a foundational understanding of engineering principles and the consumer product development process to balance technical constraints and design intents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical/operational discipline.
  • 2 to 4 years of proven working experience in product development, project coordination, or engineering operational support roles.
  • Proven track record of coordinating multi‑layered data structures, product registries, or inventory workflows with high proficiency in Google Workspace and MS Excel (e.g. handling data arrays, string mapping, and matrix tracking).
  • Independent operator mindset with experience in a fast‑paced environment, capable of managing priorities and executing tasks independently.
  • Experience collaborating smoothly within an interconnected, cross‑functional team.
  • Understanding of product lifecycles, manufacturing documentation, and mechanical/industrial design principles.
  • Strong organizational skills with an uncompromising eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin (for liaising with Mandarin speaking suppliers).
  • Availability to travel for business.
  • Interest and familiarity with the esports, gaming, or high‑performance ergonomics industry.
  • Prior experience with GS1 registries, barcode allocation frameworks, or global retail compliance standards.
