Job summary

Secretlab is seeking a proactive Project Manager for licensed product collaborations based in Singapore. You will shepherd initiatives from ideation to end-of-life, coordinating with suppliers, industrial designers and engineers to meet timeframes and budgets.

You will review design proofs, track prototype schedules, and resolve manufacturing and packaging issues with cross-functional teams. Strong communication in English and Mandarin is preferred for vendor liaison and global partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a relevant course of study.
• Internship experience in Manufacturing/ Mechanical Engineering/ Project Management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluent English and Mandarin for liaising with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects for Secretlab’s licensed products (e.g. collaboration chairs), driving them from ideation to EOL
• Review design proofs before sending to factory for prototyping
• Keep track of prototype completion dates, managing tasks and solutions to keep projects on track
• Highlight potential issues (design/ manufacturing/ packaging) during prototyping, resolving them with Industrial Designers/ Engineers
• Assist with shipping arrangements for prototypes/samples to partners, customers, reviewers, studios, etc.
• Gather requirements and arrange for early-production units for seeding, reviewers, and partners, ensuring timely completion
• Collaborate with Reliability and Compliance teams to test new materials before production and ensure regulatory compliance

Secretlab is an international gaming chair brand seating over 3 million users worldwide, with our key markets in the United States, Europe and Singapore, where we are headquartered.

You will be creating world-class products that will be designed in Singapore and subsequently manufactured and used by thousands around the world. This highly challenging role requires strong management of timelines, coordination, and completion of projects with an established time frame and budget. As such, highly effective communication with our Suppliers, Industrial Designers, and Engineers will be required.

Our Product team is involved with all Secretlab’s industry-leading designs, including collaborative efforts with world-renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organisers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects for Secretlab’s licensed products (e.g. collaboration chairs), driving them from ideation to EOL


• Review design proofs before sending to factory for prototyping


• Keep track of prototype completion dates, managing tasks and solutioning for workarounds to ensure projects are kept on track


• Highlight potential issues (design/ manufacturing/ packaging) during the prototyping stages, collaboratively resolving them with Industrial Designers/ Engineers


• Assist with making shipping arrangements for prototypes/ samples (to partners, customers, reviewers, studios, etc.)


• Gather requirements and arrange for early-production units for seeding, reviewers, and Partners, ensuring they are completed in time


• Collaborate with the Reliability and Compliance teams to ensure that new materials are tested prior to production, and in compliance with any relevant regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor of Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering, or a relevant course of study


• Excellent internship experience in Manufacturing/ Mechanical Engineering/ Project Management, with some practical knowledge and experiences to show


• Strong problem-solving skills Meticulous with a keen eye for detail


• Self-motivated and able to work independently with good skill in organizing task based on priority


• Strong communication skills with business proficiency in English and Mandarin (for liaising with Mandarin speaking vendors)


• Strong sense of initiative, taking pride and ownership of work tasks
