Job summary

SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) is Asia’s leading MRO provider with a global reach and six hangars in Singapore. We are seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to lead a maintenance team and certify airworthiness in accordance with OEM procedures and authority regulations.

Candidates must hold a CAAS Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) and have recent CAT B LAE certification. Preference will be given to those with aircraft type experience on B747, B777, B787, A350, and/or A380.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CAAS Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) (current and not expired).
• Must have recent certification experience as a CAT B Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE).

Responsibilities

• Lead a maintenance team and be responsible for successfully carrying out maintenance tasks on an aircraft in accordance with OEM procedures, manual and authority regulations.
• Operate under the SIAEC Part 145 approval to certify the airworthiness of aircraft and its components.

The prerequisites are as follows:

Mandatory:

• Must hold a valid CAAS Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) (current and not expired); and
• Must have recent certification experience as a CAT B Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE).

Deployment will be based on the candidate’s previous experience.

Preferred:

• Aircraft type ratings on one or more of the following: B747, B777, B787, A350, and/or A380.
• Relevant maintenance and/or certifying experience on the above aircraft types is an advantage.

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer in SIAEC, you will

1) Lead a maintenance team and be responsible for successfully carrying out maintenance tasks on an aircraft in accordance with OEM procedures, manual and authority regulations.

You will be operating under the SIAEC Part 145 approval to certify the airworthiness of aircraft and its components.
