Job summary

AAC TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior legal leader to oversee global legal, regulatory and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.

You will advise senior management on governance, risk, and regulatory issues, lead cross-border M&A and strategic investments, and develop frameworks to support international expansion. Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) and at least 10 years of relevant experience.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global legal, regulatory and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.

• Advise senior management on corporate governance, business operations, risk management and regulatory matters.

• Lead cross-border M&A, joint ventures, strategic investments and other corporate transactions.

• Develop and implement legal, compliance and risk management frameworks to support international expansion.

• Advise on corporate governance, listing requirements, ESG and regulatory compliance.

• Manage complex matters relating to trade compliance, export controls, data privacy and cross-border data transfers.

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, investment and corporate agreements.

• Manage internal legal teams and external legal counsel across different jurisdictions.

• Drive legal operations, process improvement and legal technology initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) or equivalent legal qualification.

• At least 10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a multinational corporation, listed company or international law firm.

• Strong experience in M&A, corporate governance, investments, capital markets and regulatory compliance.

• Proven experience handling cross-border legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
