Job summary

Changi Airport Group is seeking a mid-level Legal Counsel to support procurement and complex infrastructure projects, including Terminal 5. The role focuses on managing contractual risk across the project lifecycle within a highly regulated aviation environment.

Candidates should have 5–10 years PQE with a Singapore bar admission, and experience in construction, procurement, and dispute resolution.

Qualifications

• LL.B or equivalent from a reputable university.
• Admission to the Singapore Bar.
• 5–10 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal team.
• Specialization in commercial contracting, projects, infrastructure, construction, procurement and/or dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Advise on tenders, procurement, and project documentation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate construction, consultancy, and maintenance contracts, including non-standard terms for collaborative contracting and revenue-sharing agreements.
• Manage and resolve disputes through negotiation, mediation, litigation, and/or arbitration.
• Support contract administration, including advising on contract interpretation, claims, delays, and variations.
• Coordinate with external counsel and manage specialist legal advice.
• Develop legal templates, guidance materials, and support training for project teams.
