Job summary

Dynamic Human Capital Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced in-house Counsel to join our team. You will provide legal guidance across corporate, commercial, employment and related areas, and help shape policy and compliance programs.

The role requires PQE, admission in Singapore or a common law jurisdiction, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across functions.

Qualifications

• LL.B. or JD from an accredited law program.
• Admitted as Advocate and Solicitor of Singapore or a common law jurisdiction.
• 5 years PQE in corporate/commercial law.
• Experience in contract negotiations and advising on a broad range of laws.
• Independent at work while able to collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Advise the business on a broad range of laws including corporate, employment and IP.
• Draft, review and negotiate Sales, Procurement, Sponsorship, Consulting, and License agreements.
• Review marketing materials and advertisements.
• Manage legal and compliance process systems.
• Manage disputes and external counsel.
• Provide legal advice to RHQ and HQ.
• Oversee the Company's compliance program.
• Update business policies to align with Singapore laws.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Advice to the business on a broad range of laws including general corporate and commercial, employment, competition, intellectual property, privacy, litigation, anti-corruption, consumer protection.
• Draft, review, negotiate agreements such as Sales/Distribution Agreements, Procurement Agreements, Sponsorship Agreements, Consulting Agreements, License Agreements, etc.
• Review marketing materials and advertisements (online, offline etc.)
• Management of legal and compliance process systems.
• Manage legal disputes and litigation including management of external counsel.
• Provide legal advice to RHQ and HQ in relation to various legal issues upon request.
• Management of the Company’s compliance program
• Update and implement business policies to ensure compliance with Singapore laws.

Requirements

• Law Degree (LL.B. or JD)
• Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore or a common law jurisdiction
• 5years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE)
• Experience in corporate/commercial law and contract negotiations
• Familiarity with general corporate and commercial, employment, competition, intellectual property, privacy, litigation, anti-corruption, and consumer protection laws
• Independent at work while being able to work collaboratively at all levels and across functions.
