VIPKid in Singapore seeks an experienced corporate attorney to review, revise and negotiate contracts for international business, identifying risks and driving execution. The role covers overseas corporate structures, compliance, daily matters of subsidiaries, and cross-border data and disputes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Law; graduates from top-tier law schools are preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in law firms or in-house legal departments; prior in-house experience for AItech, internet, or overseas expansion is preferred.
• Fluent in English; able to review, negotiate and draft contracts in English for international business.

• Contract Review: Responsible for reviewing, revising and negotiating various contracts for international business. Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks, and drive contract execution.
• Business-oriented Legal Support: Engage deeply in international business scenarios and collaborate efficiently with business teams. Respond promptly to legal requests, proactively identify and resolve legal issues arising in business operations. Comprehend business objectives and pain points, and deliver practical, implementable legal solutions.
• Corporate Structure & Compliance: Take charge of legal matters relating to the establishment and maintenance of overseas corporate structures. Optimize structures to align with business development needs and ensure compliant operation of overseas entities.
• Daily Legal Matters of Overseas Subsidiaries: Incharge of daytoday legal affairs for subsidiaries in the United States and other overseas jurisdictions.
• Other Legal Matters: Assist with crossborder data compliance, dispute resolution and other legal affairs associated with the Company's international business.

Job Requirements

• Education & Major: Bachelor’s degree or above in Law; graduates from toptier law schools are preferred.
• Work Experience: 35 years of relevant working experience in law firms or inhouse legal departments. Prior experience as inhouse counsel for AItech, internet or overseasexpansion businesses is preferred.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English. Capable of conducting contract review, negotiation and drafting of legal documents in English, and independently handling Englishlanguage communications for international business.
• Competencies: Prudent and meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility; possess excellent communication skills, resilience under pressure and rapid learning capability; willing to dive into front‑line business work, proactively align with business requirements, and adapt to a highly‑collaborative, fast‑paced working environment.
