Job summary

beIN MEDIA GROUP in Singapore is seeking a contracts administrator to manage and streamline contract workflows. The role involves drafting and reviewing agreements, monitoring negotiations, ensuring compliance, and supporting the APAC Legal Department.

You will prepare legal documents, maintain contract records, and assist with corporate secretarial matters, due diligence, and regulatory compliance across the region.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in legal studies or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of the corporate structure.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in independent settings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Word, Excel and Power Point.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of legal documents, proof reading of agreements and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Preparation and monitoring of document workflow and contract summaries for internal briefing and approvals on behalf of APAC Legal Department.
  • Maintain and manage contract and legal documents execution and approval process for APAC and manage contract status updates to relevant management and commercial team.
  • Maintain, manage and organise physical and digital copies of all agreements entered by APAC business units.
  • Review and manage marketing and promo campaigns materials i.e. viewer or subscriber contests.
  • Prepare, review and draft advertising sales, marketing, agency, sponsorship, technical delivery service agreements and other commercial agreements with legal counsels’ supervision.
  • Prepare corporate secretarial documents and coordinate corporate secretarial matters internally and externally.
  • Manage and maintain all corporate information and records.
  • Manage co-ordination and implementation of policies, processes and procedures for corporate compliance in particular effectively managing and reviewing third party due diligence as part of group policies.
  • Maintain correctly all compliance registers and copies of compliance policies and assist Local Compliance Officer with compliance issues and preparation of LCC reports and arranging LCC meetings.
  • Complete KYC and third-party due diligence processes requested by third party vendors.
  • Assist with litigation and dispute resolution management including document collation for external counsel, document review, management of invoices etc.
  • Assist with other contentious issues such as intellectual property disputes, piracy (issuance of cease and desist letters, online piracy surveillance) in Asia Pacific.
  • Assist with compliance with regulations including data protection regulations and corporate governance regulations.
  • Assist and support the Legal Department to stay updated on regulatory issues in relation to distribution and exploitation of content across all media, listed events regulations, consumer law and advertising regulations throughout the Asia Pacific region.
  • Maintain and monitor all insurance policies of the company.
  • Conduct legal research as requested including research on relevant regulatory frameworks. Advise same to Head of Legal to ensure business activities, policies, business practices, and transactions comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

Job description

The role will be responsible for management of contracts. The successful incumbent must be comfortable with multi-tasking, performing legal research, monitoring and tracking progress of contract negotiations, execution as well as circulation of same to stakeholders.
