Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking an architect or architectural designer to shape the Diploma in Architecture through teaching, curriculum development, mentorship and industry collaboration. The role emphasizes integration of design thinking, sustainability and emerging technologies to create future-ready built environments.

You will deliver lessons, develop learning resources, and mentor students while fostering industry partnerships and CET initiatives to enhance employability

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Architecture or related Built Environment discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating architectural design capability and project delivery.
• Experience in end-to-end architectural design process and education/mentoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons, develop curriculum, learning resources and assessments in architectural design.
• Guide students in applying architectural design principles, sustainability and building technologies within an integrated design process.
• Mentor and supervise students through design studios, industry projects, exhibitions and collaborations.
• Lead or support industry collaborations, consultancy projects and applied research related to architecture and emerging technologies.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate curriculum, learning activities and assessments to align with evolving professional practices.
