Job summary

Moore Stephens LLP in Singapore is seeking a Learning and Development Manager for the Audit & Assurance division. You will elevate the skills, knowledge and performance of our audit professionals, aligning training with the firm’s strategy and regulatory standards.

The role requires at least 6 years in a Big 4 or mid-tier auditing firm with IFRS/ISA auditing experience, a degree in Accounting and Finance, and strong content development and facilitation abilities.

Qualifications

• Spent at least 6 years of experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier auditing firm, performing statutory and non-statutory audits of financial statements under IFRS/ISA.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting and Finance.
• Experience in content development and delivery of Audit & Assurance trainings with excellent presentation/facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with key stakeholders on training needs to drive continuous improvements to the learning ecosystem.
• Design, develop and implement training and development programs aligned with the Firm's strategy and address skill gaps.
• Design, develop and deliver trainings related to financial reporting and audit methodology for Audit & Assurance.
• Manage and monitor deployment of training courses, including onboarding trainings for new employees.
• Ensure training programs comply with regulations and standards.
• Prepare information required for external and in-house monitoring/compliance checks on training-related matters.
• Identify training needs through Firm internal quality review processes.
• Provide coaching to Learning & Development support staff.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who has strong experience in auditing IFRS financial statements, as well as a passion for learning and knowledge, to join us as Learning and Development Manager for the Audit and Assurance division.You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills, knowledge, and performance of our employees primarily in the Audit & Assurance businesses, ensuring the continuous development and success of our workforce.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with key stakeholders on training needs to drive continuous improvements to the existing learning ecosystem.
• Design, develop and implement training and development programs that are aligned with the Firm's strategy and address skill gaps within the workforce.
• Design, develop and deliver trainings related to financial reporting and audit methodology to the Audit & Assurance professional practice.
• Manage and monitor the deployment of training courses, including onboarding trainings for new employees.
• Ensure that the training programs and talent management practices comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Prepare information required for external and in-house monitoring / compliance checks on training-related matters.
• Identification of training needs through participation in the Firm's internal quality review processes.
• Provide coaching to Learning & Development support staff.

The successful candidate should have the followingrequired skills and experience:

• Spent at least 6 years of experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier auditing firm, performing statutory and non-statutory audits of financial statements under International Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards of Auditing.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting and Finance.
• Experience in content development and delivery of Audit & Assurance trainings with excellent presentation/facilitation skills and ability.

Other preferred skills and experience:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with virtual delivery platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
• Familiarity with learning management platforms such as Talent LMS.
• Familiarity with e-learn editing software such as Articulate360.
• Meticulous with strong organisation and administration skills.
