Job summary

ALG is hiring a Process Improvement Engineer in Singapore on a 1-year renewable contract to lead continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives. The role focuses on boosting productivity, quality, cost and delivery across the organisation.

You will drive Lean/Six Sigma projects, perform VSM, process mapping, RCA, FMEA, 5S and DMAIC, and build digital solutions with Power BI/Tableau while coaching teams in CI methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations.
• Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, VSM and structured problem-solving.
• Experience managing or supporting cross-functional improvement projects.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools, such as Power BI, Tableau or equivalent.
• OEM manufacturing experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and structured problem-solving.
• Conduct VSM, process mapping, RCA, FMEA, 5S and DMAIC activities to improve productivity, quality, cost and delivery.
• Identify process gaps, bottlenecks and waste, and implement sustainable improvements.
• Lead and support Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects.
• Track project progress, KPIs and improvement benefits using relevant dashboards and reporting tools.
• Develop digital solutions using Power BI, Tableau, Power Apps, Power Automate, Ignition or equivalent platforms.
• Support and coach teams in Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
