Job summary

Helius Technologies is seeking a Lead Technical Consultant to own the design, implementation and delivery of a banking technology workstream focused on Generic Error Handling, Auto-Recovery & Dependencies (AI Ops), or Feature Flag Management. You will act as the technical authority, leading solution architecture, stakeholder engagement and production deployment through hypercare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related discipline.
• 9–12 years of relevant experience in software development, system integration or technical consulting.
• Proven experience leading complex technical solutions from design through production.
• Strong expertise in at least one of: Error handling, AI Ops, or feature flags and automation.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with containerisation or platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes or PCF.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and technical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Ability to lead independently and deliver within demanding timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design, development and implementation.
• Translate business requirements into scalable architectures.
• Design integrations with banking APIs, backend systems, cloud services and monitoring platforms.
• Conduct architecture reviews to ensure enterprise-quality delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration and cloud issues.
• Develop reusable components, frameworks and implementation standards.
• Facilitate requirements discussions with banking stakeholders.
• Provide technical recommendations and explain architectural decisions.
• Own workstream delivery against scope, schedule and budget.
• Drive SIT, support UAT, and coordinate go-live and hypercare.
• Guide and mentor consultants and developers.
• Prepare technical documentation, runbooks and training materials.
