Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer for Subsea Production Systems in Singapore. You will lead manufacturing operations for Subsea Tree assemblies, FAT/eFAT/SIT, and related testing, driving readiness, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Occasional travel to Batam, Indonesia, and Asia region is required. The role requires 15+ years of subsea experience, strong leadership, and ability to partner across Design, Project, Quality and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Subsea Tree manufacturing within Oil & Gas.
• Experience supporting Subsea Tree build activities from sub-assembly through unitization.
• Experience with FAT, eFAT, SIT, insulation and Subsea Tree installation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support manufacturing operations for Subsea Tree and related products across Assembly, FAT, eFAT, Insulation and SIT.
• Drive manufacturing readiness activities to support project execution and customer delivery.
• Review and approve routings, operation sequences and Digital Work Instructions per engineering and quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain Work Instructions, SOPs and manufacturing process documentation.
• Provide technical leadership to Manufacturing Engineers, Technicians and shop floor teams.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions for manufacturing and testing non-conformances.
• Coordinate with Design, Project, Quality and Operations to ensure tooling and resources are available for production.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality, productivity and delivery.
• Support Safety Risk Assessments and MOC activities for manufacturing processes.
