Baker Hughes is seeking an Operations Manager for its Batam, Indonesia manufacturing facility, with travel to Singapore as needed. Lead daily operations, drive process improvements, and ensure safety and quality across production lines.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, financial, and people leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Production Oversight: Monitor daily manufacturing output, manage shift schedules, and ensure production targets and delivery deadlines are met.
• Process Improvement: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce scrap and rework, and boost productivity.
• Resource & Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with sourcing, maintenance, and warehousing teams to manage raw material inventory, equipment availability, and plant maintenance plans.
• Quality & Safety Enforcement: Maintain strict quality control protocols and enforce workplace health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Budget & Cost Control: Track operational expenditures, manage department budgets, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive profitability.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor production personnel, supervisors, and engineers to build a high-performance culture.
