Lead Solution Engineer – Microservices & Cloud

Job summary

HTX is inviting a hands-on Solution Engineer in Singapore to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain secure software solutions. You will work with tech leads, product owners, and end-users to translate designs into reliable code and ensure quality and compliance with hosting policies.

You will contribute to anti-scam objectives by delivering modular, scalable systems and integrating with existing platforms while following best practices in testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or engineering.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional work experience in software development.
• Expertise in Python, JavaScript, Java, C# and .Net Core.
• Experience with Next.js framework and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source code management, IaC, test automation, and static/dynamic code analysis workflows.
• Experience with containerised applications and Kubernetes administration.
• Experience integrating API gateways, microservices management, messaging, security, monitoring and logging services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software applications based on defined requirements.
• Translate solution designs into functional, maintainable code.
• Integrate applications with existing systems, databases, and external services.
• Collaborate with engagement managers, product managers, and end-users to refine features.
• Ensure coding standards, documentation, and quality assurance are met.
• Support solution maintenance, bug fixes, and enhancements to meet operational needs.
• Scope technical tasks based on assigned project deliverables.
• Provide input on technical trade-offs and implementation feasibility.
• Adhere to best practices in software engineering, including testing.
• Support integration of systems to bigger central services
• Conducts performance testing
• Ensure government compliance, hardening and hosting polices
