Job summary

jgp-group consultants (s) pte. ltd. in Singapore is seeking a skilled Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with over 7 years of experience in overseeing civil and structural works. The RTO will lead the site supervision team, conduct inspections, monitor project progress, and provide guidance to ensure compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a registered RTO certification and preferably experience in HDB Home Improvement Programme (HIP) projects. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and coordinate the site supervision team to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and HDB requirements.
2. Conduct regular site inspections and monitor quality, safety, progress, and workmanship.
3. Attend site meetings with HDB, consultants, contractors, Town Council, and other stakeholders.
4. Carry out joint inspections and site walks with the Project Director (PD), consultants, and HDB officers.
5. Monitor project progress and highlight delays, defects, and non-compliance issues for timely resolution.
6. Review and maintain site records, reports, inspection checklists, and project documentation.
7. Coordinate and supervise handover inspections and completion of outstanding works.
8. Provide guidance and supervision to RTOs and ensure consistent site standards.
9. Attend to residents' feedback, complaints, and site-related issues when required.
10. Perform any other duties assigned by the assigned by HDB and consultants.

Requirement

• Registered RTO (Resident Technical Officer) certification
• Minimum 7 years of experience in supervision of Civil & Structural (C&S) or Architectural works
• Preferably experienced in HDB Home Improvement Programme (HIP) projects
