Job summary

Balazs in Singapore is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to perform routine analytical operations and monitor product quality. You will document test results and lead QC technicians in a structured laboratory setting. You will work with GC, FTIR, ICP-MS and related instruments, supporting R&D with method improvements while maintaining equipment and ensuring safety compliance.

Requirements include a B.S. in Chemistry and 3+ years of lab experience; ALAM pre-employment screening and PPE

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Chemistry and at least 3 years of lab experience.
• Ability to mentor QC Technicians and guide investigations.
• Experience in ISO-compliant laboratory environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical operations in a structured lab environment.
• Analyze raw materials, in-process materials and finished goods using GC, FTIR, ICP-MS and other analyzers.
• Lead metrology studies and statistical evaluation of data.
• Mentor QC technicians and train Production Instrument Operators.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and ISO directives.
• Document all test results accurately.
