Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Production Technician to support daily manufacturing operations for precision instruments in a highly regulated environment. You will lead and coordinate a team of Production Operators and Technicians, interpret specifications, and work closely with Engineering to resolve yield challenges.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, quality, and GMP compliance; developing work instructions; training staff; and supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 3 years in a regulated manufacturing environment; OR NTC/ITE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a regulated production environment operating under ISO 13485, cGMP, or applicable regulatory requirements.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and meticulous approach to work.
• Ability to understand production BOMs and their relationship to manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting new product transfers is advantageous.
• Experience in ISO 13485 and cGMP environments with audit exposure is advantageous.
• Proactive, collaborative and hands-on in a production setting.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support the Supervisor and Line Leader in daily production and assembly operations.
• Lead and coordinate a team of Production Operators and Technicians to achieve production targets.
• Interpret technical specifications and ensure assembly and testing activities meet requirements.
• Analyse yield and quality issues, partner with Engineering to identify root causes and solutions.
• Develop troubleshooting guides, work instructions and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes, efficiency and workflow.
• Take on line leadership when the Line Leader is unavailable.
• Ensure safety, quality, GMP requirements are followed by personnel.
• Train and support staff in assembly and testing of instruments.
• Coordinate daily assignments and training records.
• Prepare reports relating to daily production activities.
• Assist with first-level analysis of defects and equipment issues.
