Job summary

UES HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. seeks a capable Lead Process Mechanical Engineer to head the process and mechanical team on a major EPC project.

You will oversee design, engineering, procurement support, installation, and rigorous testing and commissioning to deliver a turnkey solution. You will review tender specifications, evaluate vendor proposals, and prepare cost estimates during bids. Strong leadership, communication, and industry-standard knowledge are essential for successful execution in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years' proven experience in process/mechanical design for process plants.
• 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Experience with Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) or wastewater systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry standards and Singapore codes of practice.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with Navisworks and Bentley View for P&ID is an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the process and mechanical team for an EPC project, covering design, engineering, procurement support, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Review tender specs, evaluate vendor proposals, and prepare cost estimates for tender submissions.
• Support procurement, contract negotiation, and progress claims during project execution.
• Lead testing and commissioning activities to ensure smooth handover to operations.
• Plan and manage the process mechanical work schedule and report progress and risks to management.
• Deliver technical presentations to clients and consultants and respond to inquiries.
• Manage process mechanical suppliers and subcontractors to meet schedule and quality requirements.
