Job summary

PM Asia Project Services Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Lead Process Engineer to support the Engineering Technical Lead across CD, BD, and DD phases for capital projects.

You will guide process systems, clean utilities, HVAC, and GMP facilities, review PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, and equipment specs, and ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory expectations. Applicants should have a chemical/processing engineering degree and EPCM/EPC project experience, with aseptic capabilities and facility design

Qualifications

• Strong GMP facility design knowledge for pharma/biotech
• Knowledge of clean utilities, process systems, HVAC concepts, and aseptic requirements
• Experience supporting EPCM/EPC project environments and multidisciplinary execution

Job description

We are looking to hire a Lead Process Engineer to support the Engineering Technical Lead in execution of capital projects across Concept Design (CD), Basic Design (BD), and Detailed Design (DD) phases.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical engineering guidance and support for process systems, clean utilities, HVAC systems, GMP facilities, and supporting infrastructure.
• Review and provide technical input on engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, equipment specifications, utility requirements, and design documentation.
• Support facility planning activities including personnel/material flow assessments, zoning concepts, cleanroom classifications, and GMP-compliant layouts.
• Ensure engineering designs comply with applicable GMP requirements, industry standards, corporate standards, and regulatory expectations.
• Assess facility and utility capacities to support new process requirements, equipment additions, and future expansion plans.
• Participate in technical due diligence, constructability reviews, and engineering risk assessments.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of GMP pharmaceutical/biotech facility design and operations.
• Good knowledge of clean utilities, process systems, HVAC classification concepts, infrastructure systems, and aseptic/GMP facility requirements.
• Experience supporting EPCM/EPC project environments and multidisciplinary project execution.
