Job summary

infogain solutions pte. limited is seeking a Lead Platform and Release Engineer in Singapore to design, implement and manage the software delivery platform.

You will cover CI/CD pipeline engineering, environment management, deployment automation, release governance and operational readiness across the application lifecycle. The role requires working closely with development, architecture, infrastructure and security teams to ensure secure, reliable production delivery and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development, implementation, production support and application maintenance.
• Strong experience designing, developing and supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
• Hands-on Python and Django backend experience, API/microservices, MQ integrations.
• Linux/Unix platform administration, shell scripting, automation, monitoring.
• DevOps concepts and Jenkins-based CI/CD processes, release coordination and production deployment support.
• Git-based version control, branching/merging and SDLC practices.
• Networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines for development, testing and release activities.
• Manage environments across Development, SIT, UAT, Pre-Production and Production for stability and readiness.
• Enforce technical quality using SDM guidelines, Agile, DevOps and automated testing practices.
• Plan and coordinate application releases, deployments, production cutovers, and rollback procedures.
• Collaborate with architects, security teams and infrastructure for compliant solutions.
• Develop and maintain platform engineering standards, deployment patterns and runbooks.
• Ensure implementations conform to roadmaps, scalability and operational support models.
• Drive automation to reduce manual effort and improve deployment reliability.
• Monitor release performance, deployment success, platform stability and operational metrics.
