Job summary

GE Aerospace in Singapore is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer – NPI to drive development and industrialization of Component Repair NPI projects. You will lead cross-functional teams across Repair, Design and Product Support Engineering, generating manufacturing routers, substantiation packages, and documentation, while ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.

The role requires 3–5 years in NPI with a mechanical/aerospace background and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Materials Engineering with 3–5 years in NPI.
Experience developing repair processes and industrialization for NPI projects.
Knowledge of manufacturing and inspection tools used in repair: brazing, heat treat, diffusion coating/thermal spray, peening, welding/additive, machining.
Familiarity with GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
Strong time management and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead development of repair processes for Component Repair NPI and industrialization.
Generate manufacturing routers and instructions, Repair Source Substantiation packages, and related documentation.
Resolve technical and operational challenges and obtain approval for repair handover to shop operations.
Coordinate with Repair, Design and Product Support Engineering teams across Singapore, USA and other sites during NPI repair development and industrialization.
Manage multiple NPI projects with scheduling, resources, budget, and EHS compliance.
