Job summary

MINT X PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled foreman to oversee masonry projects in Singapore.

You will review project plans, estimate materials and hours, and ensure the availability of all necessary resources. You will supervise teams, enforce safety standards, and inspect work from start to finish. The role requires strong knowledge of masonry materials and tools, plus the ability to guide others and make sound decisions.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan and supervise masonry activities.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and principles required in skilled masonry work.
• Knowledge of use, care and maintenance of tools and equipment, both specialized and common.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and proper safety precautions.
• Knowledge of supervision principles and practices.
• Ability to assign, supervise and inspect the work of others.
• Ability to use and operate necessary tools and equipment.
• Ability to evaluate situations and make decisions.
• Ability to express ideas clearly and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Receives work orders and reviews plans or blueprints of projects.
• Estimates materials, man hours and cost requirements.
• Ensures that necessary materials, supplies, equipment, plans, tools, etc., are available.
• Demonstrates proper work methods.
• Inspects work in progress and upon completion.
• Confers with supervisor concerning problems with work assignments or personnel.
• Performs other work as assigned.
