Job summary

PATH INFOTECH PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Platform/Infrastructure Engineer to assist the Team Lead in running day-to-day operations and ensure incidents, service requests, and changes meet SLAs.

The role includes 24x7 coverage planning, on-call escalation, mentoring of junior engineers, and hands-on tasks with Ansible, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and AWS administration to keep platforms secure and reliable.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in platform or infrastructure engineering and support.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform and OpenShift or Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with platform upgrades and new deployments.
• Willingness to support a 24x7 on-call roster and after-hours maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting, ITSM familiarity, and good communication/organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring incidents, service requests and changes meet SLAs.
• Coordinate team workload and rostering for 24x7 coverage; track metrics and prepare status updates.
• Act as first escalation point after-hours; lead incident response when Team Lead unavailable; mentor juniors.
• Handle incident resolution, root cause analysis, platform health monitoring, and capacity management; maintain runbooks/SOPs.
• Plan and execute platform upgrades and new deployments: installation, configuration, integration, security hardening.
• For AWS, perform basic administration across computing, storage, networking, IAM; ensure governance.
• Support Team Lead on projects: milestone tracking, deliverable coordination, risk management, vendor liaison.
