Job summary

Logicalis Asia Pacific is seeking a hands-on Linux and cloud infrastructure engineer to design, install, configure, and deliver Linux environments and container platforms. You will work on Azure and AWS, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and hybrid/on-premises solutions within a regional team embedded in a global organisation.

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, documentation, and the ability to move between project delivery and operations. On-call duties may apply as part of BAU responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Linux administration experience (RHEL/ Rocky/ Ubuntu).
• Practical experience with containerisation or Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with, or exposure to, Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience supporting Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience working in hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments.
• Comfortable moving between project delivery and operations/support work.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and deliver infrastructure and platform solutions based on approved designs and statements of work.
• Build and deploy Linux environments (RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu), container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift), Azure and AWS infrastructure, and hybrid/on-premises solutions.
• Partner with Project Managers to deliver projects on scope, on schedule, and to company delivery standards.
• Produce project documentation, including design validation, implementation guides, and as-built documentation.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and handover to operations teams.
• Provide operational support for production environments — ensuring stability, availability, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across Linux, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Azure, and on-prem infrastructure; Own BAU activities: OS/platform patching, upgrades, backup and recovery validation, capacity and performance monitoring.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardisation, automation, and optimisation.
• Participate in a 24x7 standby/on-call roster as required.
