Job summary
EPAM Systems in Singapore seeks a Lead Java Developer to drive hands-on delivery of banking-grade backend services built on Java 21, Spring Boot, and microservices. Qualifications
- Strong Java expertise with Java 21 and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing microservices and REST APIs with clear contracts.
- SQL proficiency with relational databases and data modeling.
- Containerised delivery using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Testing with JUnit/Mockito and CI/CD practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of Java 21 back-end services.
- Define microservice boundaries, API contracts and data models.
- Build resilient REST APIs with versioning and documentation.
- Guide event-driven communication and integration decisions.
- Partner with DevOps to deploy on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
