Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Typically 4–7 years of work experience in engineering design and hardware development lifecycle.
• Alternate: commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

Responsibilities

• Drive mechanical design execution of ISA across the product development lifecycle.
• Own ISA mechanical verification and validation activities with test plans.
• Collaborate with FW, Servo, and IQ teams for system functionality and quality.
• Interface with program and cross-functional teams to align requirements and plans.
• Develop and implement parameters and test plans for designs, including tolerances and safety.
• Demonstrate understanding of concepts within their area of expertise.
• Communicate status and progress with management and partners.
• Manage relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, including deliverables and costs.
• Lead a project team to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions.
• Generate process efficiencies and ensure quality documentation.
• Solve problems in straightforward situations using judgment and precedents.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff.
