Job summary

RS RECRUITMENT AGENCY LLP is seeking a Technical Manager cum Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) to lead facilities management operations at the assigned site(s) in Singapore. The role ensures statutory compliance and business continuity while managing client relationships and safety performance.

You will oversee M&E and fire protection systems, develop fire safety plans, and drive continuous improvement across technical operations, asset reliability and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services or a related discipline.
• Registered Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) recognised by SCDF.
• At least 5 years of experience in facilities management and fire safety management, including site operations.
• Strong knowledge of building M&E systems, fire protection systems, compliance and best practices.
• Proven experience leading commercial, healthcare, industrial or mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall facilities management operations for safe, reliable building performance.
• Serve as the appointed SFSM and ensure full compliance with Fire Safety Act, Fire Code and SCDF requirements.
• Drive maintenance strategies, asset lifecycle management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of critical M&E, fire protection and building systems.
• Develop and review Fire Emergency Plan, ERP, drills and emergency readiness programmes.
• Lead technical teams, contractors and service providers to achieve KPIs.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Oversee budgets, maintenance planning, procurement and cost optimisation.
• Conduct technical and fire safety audits, risk assessments and investigations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, SCDF, BCA and authorities on operational matters.
