Job summary

Jardine Engineering (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Technical Manager cum Senior Fire Safety Manager to lead facilities management and fire safety across the site(s).

You will oversee technical operations, asset reliability and compliance, serving as the SFSM to ensure SCDF and Fire Safety Act adherence. You will drive maintenance strategies, budgets and contractor management while maintaining client satisfaction and business continuity.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services or related discipline.
• Registered Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) recognised by SCDF.
• At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, technical operations and fire safety with site leadership.
• Strong knowledge of M&E, fire protection systems, compliance and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage facilities management operations for safe, reliable building performance.
• Serve as the appointed SFSM and ensure compliance with Fire Safety Act, Fire Code, SCDF and regulations.
• Oversee maintenance strategies, asset lifecycle management and continuous improvement.
• Manage operation and maintenance of M&E, fire protection and building systems to maximise reliability.
• Develop and review Fire Emergency Plan, ERP, drills and preparedness programmes.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, contractors and service providers to meet KPIs.
• Build client relationships and ensure service excellence and issue resolution.
• Oversee budgets, maintenance planning, procurement and cost optimisation.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments and incident investigations with corrective actions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, SCDF, BCA and authorities on operational and safety matters.
• Ensure compliance with WSH, quality systems and company policies.
• Provide leadership during emergencies, business continuity and crisis events.
