Qualifications

• Strong experience in infrastructure architecture, platform engineering, or senior technical design roles within large and complex organisations.
• Broad technical understanding across network, compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud-enabled environments.
• Experience translating business and operational needs into architecture that balances resilience, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with interest in infrastructure automation, modern engineering practices, and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Define infrastructure architecture principles, standards, and target-state designs that support reliability, performance, and long-term platform stability.
• Lead design discussions across key infrastructure domains, ensuring solutions are practical, secure, and aligned with business and technology priorities.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to review technical proposals, validate implementation approaches, and support delivery from design through go-live.
• Provide architecture input into incidents, problem trends, and recurring issues, using those learnings to improve the overall infrastructure environment.
• Contribute to governance, design review, and continuous improvement activities that strengthen engineering consistency and reduce operational risk.
