Qualifications

• Extensive senior Windows engineering experience in large enterprises.
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server, AD, Entra ID, Group Policy, PKI, and monitoring.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Nutanix/Citrix) and platform upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction, stability, and ongoing improvement of enterprise Windows infrastructure and associated core platform services
• Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex production issues, coordinating recovery activities and driving permanent fixes for recurring problems
• Plan and deliver infrastructure refreshes, major upgrades, migration activities, and lifecycle initiatives across Windows-based platforms
• Establish practical operational standards covering change controls, patch management, backup, recovery testing, vulnerability remediation, and service performance
• Work with internal teams and external service partners to improve support quality, documentation, automation, and day-to-day platform reliability
• Develop automation using scripting and configuration-management tools to reduce manual work, improve consistency, and speed up operational delivery
• Partner with security and risk stakeholders to strengthen identity controls, privileged access practices, and secure administration across Windows services
