Job summary

ALPHA Z PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced engineer to own product development end-to-end, from architecture and backend to frontend and infrastructure.

You will select the tech stack, balance build vs buy, and build APIs that connect the LLM formulation layer with solvers and a knowledge library. You will also craft user interfaces for reviewing the platform’s reasoning, own cloud deployments and monitoring, and set engineering standards for testing, CI/CD, and development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience taking a product from early stage to production, ideally as an early or sole engineer.
• Proven track record of building, deploying, and maintaining production systems end to end.
• Pragmatic judgment about when to ship simply and when to build properly.
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to non-technical founders and researchers.

Responsibilities

• Own product engineering end-to-end, hands-on from architecture and backend to frontend and infrastructure.
• Choose the technology stack and make build-vs-buy decisions, keeping things simple while enabling scale.
• Build the APIs and backend services connecting the LLM problem-formulation layer, solvers, and knowledge library.
• Build interfaces where users review and verify the platform’s reasoning.
• Own cloud infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, and uptime, ensuring enterprise data security.
• Establish engineering standards across testing, code review, CI/CD, and development practices.
• Work with founders and AI researchers to shape roadmaps and turn research into production features.
