Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an AI Software Engineer to design, build and deliver AI-enabled applications for our core business lines. You will own end-to-end software delivery, from requirements and architecture through testing, deployment, and post-launch iteration.

You will integrate LLM APIs, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation, evaluate models, and lead CI/CD, containerisation, observability, and secure cloud deployment. Join us to advance an ambitious AI platform.

Qualifications

• Track record of shipping production software under real operating conditions.
• Strong Python proficiency with REST APIs and cloud deployment.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and retrieval/vector databases.
• Solid software architecture, testing, and production ops knowledge.
• Experience with agentic orchestration frameworks and frontend tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end AI-powered applications and interfaces.
• Own the full SDLC from requirements to post-launch iteration.
• Integrate LLMs, vector DBs, and retrieval-augmented generation in production.
• Evaluate AI models and production performance, define criteria.
• Own CI/CD, containerisation, observability, and secure cloud deployment.
• Contribute reusable components and set engineering standards.
• Collaborate with business teams and AI PMs, communicating risks and progress.
