Job summary

NinjaOne seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer to partner with the global Platform Engineering team in Singapore, focusing on production deployment engineering and platform automation. You will own release operations, build automated deployment solutions, and mentor engineers to elevate operational excellence across global production environments.

You will collaborate with Software Engineering, SRE, QA, Release Management, and Security to design scalable, secure delivery platforms and drive improvements

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Build & Release Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or related disciplines.
• Proven track record leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• Strong experience supporting and automating production software deployments in cloud environments.
• Deep expertise building enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
• Strong scripting or programming experience using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of software deployments into production environments with high availability and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan releases, maintenance windows, and emergency deployments with clear stakeholder communication.
• Develop deployment standards, release readiness processes, rollback procedures, and operational playbooks.
• Drive CI/CD modernization initiatives using CircleCI and related technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers and software teams.
