Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a hands-on Lead DevOps Engineer to guide production deployment and automation across our global platform. You will partner with the US Platform Engineering team to ensure reliable releases and scalable delivery platforms from the Singapore team.

The role combines technical leadership with hands-on automation and cloud infrastructure management. You will mentor engineers, shape deployment standards, and drive improvements in release readiness, observability, and operational

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• Strong experience automating production deployments in cloud environments.
• Expertise building enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines with modern tools.
• Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, Bash.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of production deployments with high availability and predictable releases.
• Share ownership of production deployment operations with global teams for continuity.
• Coordinate with Engineering, SRE, QA, Release Managers, and Product teams for releases and emergency deployments.
• Develop and maintain deployment standards, rollback procedures, and operational playbooks.
• Lead post-release reviews and drive continuous improvements for reliability and risk reduction.
• Act as technical escalation point during complex deployments and critical releases.
• Design automated deployment solutions and self-service workflows.
• Drive CI/CD modernization initiatives (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Mentor DevOps engineers and promote best practices across the org.
